Three Daniel Fast Cookbooks: Quick & Easy Nourishing Meals (Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Vegan)

THREE FREE BOOKS:
By Rebecca Fitzgerald

http://nwp.link/1kcW1ep [Slow Cook]
http://nwp.link/1ku7d70   [Cookbook]

The Daniel fast provides believers with a special opportunity to draw nearer to God through prayer and fasting. The fast imitates spiritual hunger which was demonstrated by Daniel. When we restrict ourselves from pleasurable food, we show an act of consecration and worship to God.

In her Daniel Fast Smoothies cookbook, author Rebecca Fitzgerald shares 27 of her favorite Daniel Fast smoothies for delicious, nourishing meals. The recipes in the book were chosen for not only for taste but for ease of preparation.

In Daniel Fast Slow Cooker Recipes, she shares 27 of her favorite Daniel Fast slow cooker recipes for delicious & nourishing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The recipes in the book were chosen for not only for taste but for ease of preparation.

In The Daniel Fast Cookbook, she shares 47 of her favorite Daniel fast recipes for all meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The recipes in the book were chosen for not only for taste but for ease of preparation. To take the guesswork out of meal planning, the author covers the complete list of foods you are allowed to eat on a Daniel fast, and foods that are prohibited.

As usual: watch out for legalism. Fasting is great, but it’s easy to get religious. I'd say "Eat the meat and spit out the bones," but that's probably not appropriate when you're on a Daniel fast....

Studying ... The Testimony

Testimony is the foundation of our personal faith. Testimony is the foundation of evangelism. How strong is your foundation?

Author Deidre D Havrelock has written The Testimony series to equip Christians with insightful teachings regarding testimony so that all Christians may speak about Jesus with love and clarity. In doing so, she explains how testimony relates both to the Bible and to life. Be prepared to follow this one subject throughout the Bible in order to unlock and understand the immense significance of the Christian testimony.

Are you ready to go deeper into your Bible?

Are you ready for insight and clarity?

Learn to reveal Jesus in all areas of your life.

This book has been a real game changer for my walk with Jesus. I fully understand just how important our testimony about Jesus is; who He is, what He did for us and what He still does for us. I think The reason most Christians don't feel they can be a witness for Jesus is simply because they feel they don't know how to, they don't know what to say and they don't want to say "the wrong thing" and turn people in need away from Jesus. Studying.....The Testimony can teach you how to rely on Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit to give you the words and the courage to say them out loud to family, friends and yes, even complete strangers (when you sense the Holy Spirit prompting you to do so). Thank you Deidre!

10 Things Jesus Never Said: And Why You Should Stop Believing Them

FREE BOOK: 10 Things Jesus Never Said

Too often Christians carry a lot of guilt and baggage when it comes to their relationship with God. The problem is that so many of us believe unbiblical, damaging things about how critical God is and how fed up he must be with us.

But many of the things we think Jesus would say to us--things like "I can't believe you call yourself a Christian," "If you really loved me, you'd try harder," and "I'm so disappointed in you"--are things he never said. The solution, says Will Davis Jr., is to stop believing the lies and start believing the things Jesus did say.

In 10 Things Jesus Never Said, Davis unmasks commonly believed myths about our relationship with God and shows readers how to replace this pervasive theology of failure with the truth of how Jesus really feels about them.

Discussion questions at the end of each chapter help small groups or individuals apply these truths to their current situations. Anyone who has ever felt that they didn't measure up to God's standards will love this freeing exploration of grace and forgiveness.

The Knowledge of the Holy

ONE BUCK CLASSIC BOOK: The Knowledge of the Holy
A.W. Tozer

“Teach us, O God, that nothing is necessary to Thee. Were anything necessary to Thee that thing would be the measure of Thine imperfection: and how could we worship one who is imperfect?”

The Knowledge of the Holy is a classic reflection on God’s attributes. Tozer begins each chapter with a prayer, and touches upon one of God’s attributes—from God’s inifinitude, power, to knowledge. This devotional text has moved the hearts of Christians for over a century!

This electronic edition features an active table of contents.

This classic of Christian testimony and devotion explores the attributes of God in words that fly straight to the heart. A superb aid to strengthening and deepening the spiritual life, each chapter begins with a prayer, lucidly discusses a divine aspect--from God's infinity to God's love--and relates that aspect to today's world, while pointing always to God's wonder and inscrutability.

Tozer asserts that the cause of many of our modern spiritual woes is the loss in today's church of a lofty concept of God. He argues persuasively that the cure lies in our rediscovery of God's majesty. "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us," he writes. "The history of mankind will probably show that no people has ever risen above its religion, and man's spiritual history will positively demonstrate that no religion has ever been greater than its idea of God."

The Knowledge of the Holy bears eloquent witness to the concept of God's majesty, encourages reverent meditation on the being of God, and offers a way to bring back spiritual power to our lives.

How We Got the Bible - increase your faith in the reliability of the Bible
Few stories in history are as amazing and as touching as the story of how the Bible was written and became the book we have today. How We Got the Bible eBook can be read in 30 minutes or less and includes:
• A time line of events and people in the history of the Scriptures
• Examples and illustrations of ancient writing materials
• A look at the variety of Bibles available today
• Inspiring stories of early translators who gave their lives to translate and print the Bible, including William Tyndale, John Wycliffe, King James, Erasmus, and Johann Gutenberg
• Why the Dead Sea Scrolls give evidence that the Old Testament was transmitted accurately through the years

• Ten key points on how we got the Bible
• Illustrations of ancient documents created on papyrus and fine animal skins, as well as the first printing press
• A time line that follows the emergence of the Scriptures, beginning in 2000 BC, and each major step taken in publishing the Bible through 2000 AD

How We Got the Bible will encourage every believer and will increase your faith in the reliability of the Bible. The eBook reveals how the Old and New Testaments were communicated through a variety of forms, beginning as early as 1500 BC when they were written on stone, clay and leather, and later on papyrus and fine animal skins. How We Got the Bible presents solid reasons we can trust the reliability of the Bible: for example, how earliest Bible manuscripts were intricately copied by hand and how ancient texts, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, validate the earliest manuscripts.

The time line in How We Got the Bible shows the remarkable and fascinating history of the Bible, beginning in 2000 BC with Old Testament writers. The time line captures key moments in the creation of the Bible, including:
• The translation of the Septuagint, the Hebrew Old Testament, translated into Greek in 500 BC
• The collection of the 27 Books of the New Testament and formal confirmation of the Canon in 300 AD
• The first English translation of the Bible by John Wycliffe in 1300
• The King James Version of the Bible written in 1611
• The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947
• The creation of dozens of modern versions of the Bible through 2008

How We Got the Bible is a fascinating eBook that will solidify your trust in God’s word and increase your faith in God.

"Without [How We Got the Bible], I can only cite one truth with certainty - that is, 'God is God! He created the whole universe and if He can do that He can certainly preserve His word' - and He has done that. For some that will be enough, but if your listener is still skeptical, this booklet is priceless.

An Approach to Extended Memorization of Scripture

Prepare to embark on one of the most rewarding exercises of spiritual and mental labor anyone could ever attempt. Many Christians have at least a few Bible verses committed to memory, but An Approach to Extended Memorization of Scripture encourages Christians to ramp up Scripture memorization.

Daily procedures and techniques guide the reader through memorizing entire chapters and books of the Bible at one time. Author and pastor Dr. Andrew Davis has used these proven method to commit 35 books of the Bible to memory over the course of his ministry.

"This very helpful little book inspired me to tackle the memorizing of Romans 1-8. By God's grace, I made it. Oh, how sweet and how terrible to live so intimately with the greatest truth in the world!"

Letters to a Young Pastor

By Calvin Miller

Calvin Miller has long been one of the most creative voices in the church. As a best-selling author and poet he has enabled believers to flourish. As a pastor and educator he has equipped countless thousands to know and serve God more fully. And he’s got the battle scars to prove it.

Having survived these tumultuous decades, Dr. Miller now shares his well-earned wisdom with the next generation of pastors—including you, or someone you know.

Miller acknowledges much has changed over his years of ministry, as we’ve moved from switchboards to smartphones and from big-haired evangelists to cigar-smoking emergents. But two truths remain the same: God is love and people are broken. In this honest, engaging, and humorous collection of letters, he encourages you to fight the good fight, stay the course, and keep your eye on the Author and Finisher of the faith … to serve well every Sunday so you’ll never feel the urge to resign on Monday.

About the Author

Calvin Miller was pastor of Westside Church, Omaha, Nebraska, for twenty-five years. After teaching seven years at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he joined the faculty of Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was Research Professor and distinguished Writer in Residence. He is the author of more than forty books.

Calvin Miller passed on to be with his Lord August 19, 2012. He spent a great deal of his life writing love letters to his Lord Jesus. He is now with him.

Miller is witty, practical, and speaks with an authority that comes from long experience. I liked his defense of denominations, although this is probably a minority viewpoint, given the growing popularity of independent churches.

I recommend this video to young pastors and young leaders as well: A New Breed of Leader:

Intimacy With God Through Journaling

Hearing from God can be as simple as picking up the phone and saying hello to an old friend. As Christians, we hunger to hear God speak to us. He desires to communicate with us even more than we do. Our Heavenly Father wants an intimate, daily relationship with us. "Two-way journaling" is an avenue that will cultivate that relationship.

In this inspiring book, the author demonstrates how believers are positioning themselves, through journaling, to hear God’s voice. Janet opens up to you glimpses of her personal communion time with the Lord. Experience the richness and wonder of God’s voice as He lovingly speaks to Janet’s heart, and through her, to yours?

Intimacy With God Through Journaling is for those who want to take their relationship with Him to the next level. Throughout the book, it shows how God longs to commune with us, speak to us, and hep us through the struggles and battles we face in our daily walk with Him. She demonstrates how if we seek Him, He is faithful to answer us in specific ways. I love her transparency and how she takes her very real problems to the Creator of the universe, allowing Him to minister to her as only He can.

Reading this book will encourage and teach you to do the same. I loved reading this book and highly recommend it to anyone who isn't sure if God still speaks to us today as individuals or to anyone who wants to experience Him in a deeper, more intimate way.

Some seventy years ago, in a California mountain community, Frances Metcalfe formed the Golden Candlestick, a remarkable covenant fellowship dedicated to worshiping the Lord and interceding for the nations.

For more than fifty years, they experienced some of the most extraordinary encounters with the King of Kings, and now for the first time, their complete works are compiled in an authorized, three-volume set by James Maloney, in honor of the heritage they conferred to The ACTS Group International.

Do you like testimonies? You’ll love this.

Ladies of Gold: The Ministry of the Golden Candlestick by James Maloney is one of the best books I have read regarding intimacy & intercession. This book so encouraged me to intercede more than ever. What a dedicated group of people to stay in the secret place & do what God ask of them & to see destiny carried forth.

The walk that God took these ladies is awesome and true to the Word of God. One could desire to have the same experiences as they did with the understanding of how it must line up with the Bible. I can ready see how some who claim to have had some of these supernatural encounters but they lack in lining up with God's Word. This is a must for anyone seeking to understand the Spiritual Realm

What on Earth is Glory?: A Practical Approach to a Glory-filled Life

ONE BUCK BOOK: What on Earth is Glory?
By Paul Manwaring, with a foreword by Bill Johnson

Preachers often quote this majestic promise in describing the consummation of history, the restoration of all things at the end of time. But few seek to uncover the passion of God in this promise: He wants us to know His glory, and He wants us to know it here on earth.

What on Earth Is Glory? is one man's journey into this desire of God. From Mt. Sinai to the Cross, from a solitary confinement cell to the snowboarding slopes of Mammoth Lakes, from fathers and mothers to sons and daughters, from time to eternity, Paul Manwaring traces the revelation of God’s glory, uncovering the patterns of His divine design and purpose in all things, and inviting others to join him in making the audacious request Moses made millennia ago: “Show me Your glory.”

Review
I am in mild and increasing shock over this book I have just browsed. This man has been gripped by the glory of God and thus has a grip on it to an extent I have not witnessed before. I recently heard an oral presentation of its contents and experienced firsthand its powerful impact. Now my head is spinning with excitement as I try to assess its potentially massive effect on the world in the next years for decades to come. May the reader run through it hilariously, return and walk through it slowly, and return again and again to drink from its pages. ---- Jack Taylor, President Dimensions Ministries

This unusual book unveils the sum total of God s attributes His glory but shows you, in a readable and practical way, how to bring glory to God in your own life here on Earth. This book should teach you to be more like Jesus and make you want to bring more glory to Him. ---- R. T. Kendall, Former Minister, Westminster Chapel

Ever since the days of Moses, mystics have peered into the inexpressible realm of glory. Like a photographer aiming a telephoto lens at something in the distance that is difficult to make out, they tediously dial the bezel of the camera to bring it into focus. The journey of Paul Manwaring is one that brings the seemingly surreal properties of the glory of God into sharp focus. He has taken the profound elements of the glory and enabled us to grasp them for practical application. When you have read the last word of the last chapter, you will walk away not just informed, but transformed. --Randall Worley, PhD, Headwaters Ministries

About the Author
Paul Manwaring is on the senior leadership team at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and oversees Global Legacy, Bethel's apostolic relational network. He lives to see the secular/sacred dividing line erased in lives and organizations. Paul spent 19 years in senior prison management in England, is a registered general and psychiatric nurse, and holds a management degree from Cambridge University. He is married and has two sons and one grandson.

God Revealed: Revisit Your Past to Enrich Your Future

FREE BOOK: God Revealed
Fred Sievert

Book Description
Raised in a lower-middle-class, nonreligious family, Fred Sievert lived the American dream by exercising a strong work ethic with the classic symptoms of a type-A overachieving personality. In the process he often neglected his family and friends as he doggedly pursued his socioeconomic ascent.

But God revealed Himself to Fred in a profound way early in life and remained present through many difficult personal and business struggles, challenges, and decisions. The power of the stories in God Revealed—and the extent to which God was with Fred throughout his young life and business career—only became fully apparent to him after retirement, as he reflected on his life, his family, and his successes.

The underlying theme of God Revealed is that all of us encounter God in unanticipated ways. Sometimes we simply don’t recognize where His influence and guidance are constantly manifesting themselves. God Revealed invites readers not only to watch vigilantly for messages from God in their daily lives, but also to reconsider experiences from their past, realizing that those overlooked encounters often carry messages that can, with recognition, strengthen their faith and enrich their future.

God Revealed is a fascinating read simply because of Fred Sievert’s amazing life and experiences. But through these inspiring stories, Mr. Sievert provides an incredible perspective to examine our own lives. This book is truly an enjoyable read with great value as a guide to personal improvement and recognizing God in everyday life. God Revealed will definitely make a significant impact on every reader’s life as you reflect on your own past experiences and realize the multitude of ways in which God in fact had His hand in your individual journey.

Come, Lord Jesus (Rekindling the Inner Fire)

ONE BUCK BOOK: Come, Lord Jesus

Late in the fourteenth century, Thomas à Kempis joined a powerful spiritual movement sweeping Europe that was known as "The Brothers of the Common Life."

While plagues devastated the population and turmoil tore apart the Church, the Holy Spirit moved across the continent among everyday people, bringing thousands together in small communities to recreate the communal life of the early believers. In this setting, Thomas lived a life of deep prayer, devotion, and service to God.

It was the passion of his writing that galvanized the dramatic reform movement, all but saving the spiritual fire of Christianity in his own time. After the Bible, The Imitation of Christ is said to be the most widely read spiritual book of the world. It has helped countless believers to experience the living Spirit of Jesus Christ. . . like a living flame in the soul's depths.

David Hazard has arranged the words and thoughts of Thomas à Kempis into a forty day devotional to help you meet Jesus in the quiet sanctuary of your soul. . . and carry Him into the traffic and noise and challenge of today's world. . . with you and in you. . . so the world may hear the voice and know the graceful beauty of the living Lord.

By Glenn Packiam

This one is a very cool way of looking at worship in the liturgical worship context: If you love liturgical worship, or if you’re stuck in a structured church, this might help you quite a bit.

What if the way we worship isn't just an expression of our faith, but is what shapes our faith?

The Church has believed this about the way we worship and pray together for centuries: The way we worship becomes the way we believe. But if this is true, it’s time to take a closer look at what we say and sing and do each week. Drawing from his own discovery of ancient worship practices, Glenn Packiam helps us understand why the Church made creedal proclamations and Psalm-praying a regular part of their worship. He shares about why the Eucharist was the climactic point of their corporate “re-telling of the salvation story.”

When our worship becomes a rich feast, our faith is nourished and no longer anemic. The more our worship speaks of Christ, the more we enter into the mystery of faith.

Miracles: A Journalist Looks at Modern Day Experiences of God's Power

FREE BOOK: Miracles
By Tim Stafford

Award-Winning Journalist Takes a Close Look at Modern-Day Miracles

You Believe God Can Still Do Miracles, But How Do You Know Which Stories Are True?

A blind man suddenly sees. A lame man gets up and walks. A little boy is raised from the dead. You believe the biblical accounts that these miracles happened, but do you believe eye-witness reports that miracles still happen today?

Between shady faith-healers, weeping madonnas, and gimmicks like holy land water, it's difficult--even foolish--to believe every miracle account we hear. So how do we discount the fakes without missing out on the real miracles in the process?

Award-winning journalist Tim Stafford shares captivating stories of modern-day miracles, wrestling over what is credible and what isn't.

But more than that, he offers wisdom and insight to help you figure out the role miracles should play in your faith. Should you expect miracles? Ignore them? Pray for them? How active is God in the world today? And could he be more active in your own life?

Learn how to explore these questions with wisdom and honesty, growing your faith and hope along the way.

Miracles give us hope. But while readers are fascinated by stories of miracles, they aren't always sure which ones to believe.

Stafford takes a careful look at miraculous events in our modern world--some hard to accept and others hard to deny--then places them in a historical and biblical context.

Along the way he explores questions about where and under what circumstances miracles occur today, and what role they should play in the lives of Christians.

"Tim Stafford puts the right person at the center of miracle stories: not the charismatic leader through whom miracles come, nor the person who is healed, but God himself."
--David Neff, editor in chief, Christianity Today

"Veteran journalist Tim Stafford does best what good journalists do best: reports on the world of miracles with neither skepticism nor naivete but with clarity and reverent honesty. A remarkable achievement."
--Eugene H. Peterson, Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology, Regent College, Vancouver, B.C.

The Work of Christ: What the Events of Jesus' Life Mean for You

FREE BOOK: The Work of Christ
By R. C. Sproul

“The work of Jesus reveals to us who He is. The work and the person may be distinguished but never separated.”
—Dr. R. C. Sproul

Most Christians recognize the importance of Christ’s death and resurrection. But how many of us understand the theological significance of Jesus’ actions before and after the Crucifixion? In The Work of Christ, Dr. R. C. Sproul looks at every aspect of Jesus’ life and work, addressing such life-changing topics as:

  • Why Jesus’ baptism is relevant for our salvation
  • The similarities and differences between the temptation of the first Adam and the temptation of Jesus, the “second Adam"
  • How God uses song to celebrate his redemptive acts
  • Why the Last Supper marks the beginning of a greater exodus than that of the Old Testament
  • How Jesus’ death and resurrection are grounded in the eternal covenant among the persons of the Trinity
  • Why Jesus’ ascension makes a difference in our lives today
  • What we know and don’t know about Jesus’ return

Moving from Jesus’ existence from before creation through His incarnation, boyhood, adulthood, death, resurrection, and return, Dr. Sproul guides you to a deeper understanding of God’s beautiful promise and purpose behind the works of Christ’s life.

Comment: RC Sproul is one of the finest theologians of the Church realm. At this point, he – like many church leaders of his era – is firmly committed to both excellent traditional church practice, and excellent traditional church doctrine. Learn from him, trust his teaching, but if God is taking you beyond the traditional Sunday morning experience, don’t be surprised if your doctrine moves beyond Sproul’s superb foundation.

War in Heaven: God's Epic Battle with Evil

Why is our world a scene of conflict? Is this conflict restricted to earth? What happens in the three "levels" of heaven? Does Satan really roam freely throughout the universe? Do Christians have any role in the conflict in the spiritual realm?

Prolific author and Bible teacher Derek Prince addresses these questions and more in this carefully researched and superbly written book. Although focusing almost exclusively on the pre-Adamic era, Prince also explains that the Bible is primarily a record of Adam's race rather than a history of the world. He discusses the creation of man, as well as angels, particularly addressing the fall of Lucifer and the angels who joined him in his rebellion against God. Prince concludes that pride, which fueled rebellion, is the root of all sin, and he explains God's eternal plan of salvation.

Written with clarity and simplicity, this fascinating book offers readers biblical answers to fundamental questions and reassurance for the future.

From the Back Cover
A cosmic view of God's plan-from start to finish!

The Bible says that when God laid the foundations of the earth, the angels were watching. In time, one of those angels would be the main player in a rebellion to wrest God of His magnificent creation.

Thus began a battle of epic proportions that leaves today's believer with many questions.

-Why did God allow evil in the first place?
-If evil was defeated at the cross, why does it continue to exist?
-Does spiritual warfare really make a difference?
-How are we to await the end of the age?

In a fascinating, compelling exploration of Scripture, Bible teacher Derek Prince addresses these and many other questions. Focusing on events before the creation of Adam, he also describes Jesus' stunning victory over Satan.

But it is not over yet. Now is the time for God's people to make war on the enemy! Take up your spiritual weapons and follow the King of glory. Peace and assurance await you.

About the Author
Derek Prince is a Bible expositor with a world wide radio ministry and the author of more than forty books, including Blessing or Curse and They Shall Expel Demons. He lives in Jerusalem.

I purchased the book, for the simple fact that I did feel like giving up. I brought it home thumbed through it, then put it down; thinking to myself another book about God and I won't read it. Needless to say I began at page one, and went through the entire book. I could not believe the information that the author put in the pages hit home to the reality that God really loves you and is right there waiting to pick you back up now that your down. My recommendation, if you are distressed with life and feeling that God cannot love you because of sin in your life then this book is for you. Take Care.

When it comes to fiction, especially in the realm of Fantasy, I think that it isn't always the easiest to come by. Marcher Lord Press produces some of the best, while seasoned writers such as George R.R. Martin continue to make impressive marks, always impressing readers. I was quite intrigued to see that there was a new man in town by the name of Patrick W. Carr. But I wondered if he would be impressive. Well, he's impressed the likes of Jill Williamson and John Otte, two Marcher Lord Press masterminds praise this man's work, and I was extremely eager to see what Carr had to offer. I wasn't disappointed in the least!
