ONE BUCK BOOKS
TWO BUCK BOOKS
I've been asked for some good resources for folks who are looking at homesteading, or at growing their own food.
You don't need to be a prepper to grow your own fruits, veggies, herbs, or seeds. Millions of folks are growing some or even all of their own food, saving costs, controlling quality, enjoying better flavor, or just appreciating not needing to depend on grocery stores for their food supply.
I've found a treasure trove of free and nearly-free books on the topic:
And here's a similar list if you want to join the thousands of homes (including in-town homes!) who want to grow chickens for eggs or meat:
Some of the books (like this Backyard Ponds book) are less relevant, but others should be really useful.
Most books will deal with one aspect of the whole picture; it will take a bunch of these free books to complete a competent education (or a competent library) on these topics.
Note that these lists will change, at least every day, and perhaps every hour. If you see something you like, you'll probably want to grab it quickly.
And you may want to bookmark these links for accessing later.
