What on Earth is Glory?: A Practical Approach to a Glory-filled Life

ONE BUCK BOOK: What on Earth is Glory?
Paul Manwaring (Author), Bill Johnson (Foreword)

Preachers often quote this majestic promise in describing the consummation of history, the restoration of all things at the end of time. But few seek to uncover the passion of God in this promise: He wants us to know His glory, and He wants us to know it here on earth.

What on Earth Is Glory? is one man's journey into this desire of God. From Mt. Sinai to the Cross, from a solitary confinement cell to the snowboarding slopes of Mammoth Lakes, from fathers and mothers to sons and daughters, from time to eternity, Paul Manwaring traces the revelation of God’s glory, uncovering the patterns of His divine design and purpose in all things, and inviting others to join him in making the audacious request Moses made millennia ago: “Show me Your glory.”

Review
I am in mild and increasing shock over this book I have just browsed. This man has been gripped by the glory of God and thus has a grip on it to an extent I have not witnessed before. I recently heard an oral presentation of its contents and experienced firsthand its powerful impact. Now my head is spinning with excitement as I try to assess its potentially massive effect on the world in the next years for decades to come. May the reader run through it hilariously, return and walk through it slowly, and return again and again to drink from its pages. ---- Jack Taylor, President Dimensions Ministries

This unusual book unveils the sum total of God s attributes His glory but shows you, in a readable and practical way, how to bring glory to God in your own life here on Earth. This book should teach you to be more like Jesus and make you want to bring more glory to Him. ---- R. T. Kendall, Former Minister, Westminster Chapel
